Grip ’N Guard is a jiu jitsu and fightwear brand based in Edmonton, Alberta. We create rashguards, fight shorts and off-the-mat apparel for grapplers who want their gear to feel like them.
Some designs have a story. Some start with a joke from the mats. All belong to the same idea: take your training seriously, and leave room to enjoy it.
Built around real rounds
Jiu jitsu teaches you quickly where you need work, on and off the mats. Training, competing and coaching kids have shaped how we see progress: everyone learns differently, and everyone brings something of their own.
Grip ’N Guard carries that mindset into fightwear. From the Lightning bolt to Mother’s Milk and Heel Hooker, our designs make room for the serious work and the ridiculous moments that come with it.
